Mostly dry and windy, with spells of hazy sunshine across eastern areas, making it feel pleasantly warm. However, cloudier and cooler in the west, with patchy drizzle possible over hills. Maximum temperature 13 deg C (55 deg F).

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

A band of occasionally heavy rain and gales moving southwards during Thursday, clearing overnight. Then turning colder, with blustery showers on Friday and Saturday, these wintry over hills at times.
