Seal pups released back into the sea in Penrhyn Bay

Four rescued seal pups have been released back into the sea at Penrhyn bay after being nursed back to health at the Welsh Mountain Zoo.

The pups have been at the zoo in Colwyn Bay since the end of last year.

Each of the pups have spent more than three months rehabilitating in two specially designed pools at the zoo. Now weighing in at 40 kilogrammes each, they are fit enough to be released into the wild.
