A former Cardiff Devils ice hockey player has been talking to ITV Cymru Wales about the threats that forced him to cancel his plans to climb Mount Everest.
Jeff Smith, who's 50, was hoping to become the oldest welshman to climb the mountain.
After leaving the UK last month, Jeff was preparing to make the epic journey up the mountain.
But earlier this week, he announced that he was to cancel his trip after receiving threats to his climbing team and sherpa guides.

Speaking to ITV News, Jeff said he will continue raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Asked whether he'll attempt the challenge in the future, he said it was too soon to tell.
