Too many people Wales are "damaging their health and endangering their lives" through their own lifestyle choices.
That warning has come from the Health Minister, as the latest annual health survey is published.
Mark Drakeford says people must take more responsibility for their own health.
Figures out today reveal:
- 58% of adults were classified as overweight or obese
- 21% of adults reported they currently smoke
- 26% of adults reported drinking more than twice the daily guidelines - or 'bring-drinking' - at least one a week
The figures have been published amid calls from a National Assembly Committee for more specialist obesity support services across Wales.
