Wales joins D-Day 70th anniversary commemorations

70 years ago today, hundreds of Welsh men played their part in the allied invasion of Nazi-occupied France.

The anniversary of the D-Day landings has been marked in Normandy by leaders from across the world.

David Wood reports:

Ted Owens, from Pembroke Dock, was wounded as a teenage commando, taking part in D-Day on 6 June 1944.

He told us "it is very, very important to remember" what happened in Normandy, and all of those servicemen who were lost.
