A nine-year-old girl was rescued by lifeboat crews from Newquay on Thursday after getting her foot stuck between rocks at Aberaeron.
The girl, who was wearing her school uniform, was playing hide-and-seek when she slipped. Crews were called out at five o'clock just as the tide was starting to come in. The girl, who was from the local area, was taken to hospital for routine checks.
Kathryn Tresilian reports.
The rescue was also the first call out for 17-year-old RNLI volunteer Tom Evans, the youngest member of the team.
