Police investigation into Lord Tonypandy abuse claim

South Wales Police have confirmed they are investigating allegations that former Welsh Secretary George Thomas reportedly abused a child. The allegations were first brought to the attention of the force in April 2013.

"[We] have attempted to get in touch with the victim.

“Unfortunately incorrect contact information was used and as a result we failed to make contact with him. We have since spoken to the victim, apologised for the delay and are investigating his claims."
