He walked up Snowdon and down again giving other mountain visitors more of a view then they bargained for.

It took 29 year-old Jon Jolley three-and-half hours to reach the summit - and you might not have wanted to be behind him!

The Wrexham FC and Arsenal fan put a £100 bet on Brazil to win the World Cup for the fifth time, along with top striker Neymar claiming the golden boot, at 20-1.

So sure was he that he'd claim his winnings he told friends, if they didn't he'd climb Snowdon in a thong.

I’ve always been a bit of a practical joker but no one thought I’d see this through, as it was just a silly bet on Facebook, so when they saw the pictures and video they thought it was hilarious and they respected that I turned it into a charitable cause

Scantily clad Jon walked the route starting from Llanberis at 11am and is delighted with the results.

The response has been amazing, everyone has been really supportive and so we’ve raised £664 and the original target was £150 so we’ve smashed that which is fantastic.
