Hundreds march in Cardiff in protest against the Gaza conflict

Hundreds of protesters marched in Cardiff today to highlight the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

The protest was largely peaceful but the police did make two arrests.

Mike Griffiths talks to relatives of some of the families caught up in the hostilities as the death toll reaches 1000.

Omar Abou Marzook has lived in the UK for ten years. He volunteers with an organisation that helps treat people in the region.

My sister and my aunts and uncles as well as friends are over there.

We try to keep in contact with them as often as we can through the social media, Facebook, WhatsApp and try to call them.

The issue here is that the electricity cuts out, there's no internet, there's no telephone if their batteries run out and that's when we get worried.
