New disabled forum for fans launched at Swansea City

A new forum to give disabled Swansea City fans a bigger voice has been launched at the Liberty Stadium. Some seventy fans turned up at the Association's first meeting last night which was chaired by Oona Smith

The occasion was attended by Swansea City footballer Kenji Gorre who gave his backing to the new group

Radio presenter , Matt Barroccu was on hand to explain that there was already help on hand for the visually impaired thanks to a system set up by local hospital radio station but said the forum was a good chance to let more fans know what was available

Vice Chair man of Swansea City, Leigh Dineen, said it was important to hear the views of disabled fans so that they enjoyed the games as much as anybody else
