Fans organise Porthcawl festival to honour Steve Strange

Fans of 80s singer and style icon Steve Strange have organised a festival to be held in his honour.

The New Romantic festival will be held in his home town in a one-day homage after the death of the Visage singer.

Live music from artists linked to the New Romantic movement will be held at the seaside town in south Wales, where Strange lived until he died aged 55 this year.

The event will be staged in the Grand Pavillion on 31 October.
