The singer - a patron of the hospital - unveiled the sign on the newly-renamed 'Dame Shirley Bassey Way'.

The Welsh translation mis-spells the Welsh word for Dame - 'Fonesig' - as 'Fonsig'.

Watch Dame Shirley's praise for the hospital below:

A spokesperson for the Noah's Ark charity said work to fix the sign would have to wait until the start of the week.

It has been through professional translation processes but we will obviously have to amend it.

We’d like to say thanks for bringing it to our attention. We are aware of the problem and we will deal with it as soon as we can.
