Today will be very warm or hot and early showers and cloud look set to clear, particularly towards the east of the country with maximum temperature 29 C.
Tonight there will be fine late sunshine, largely dry overnight before cloud thickens later with the threat of showers across Wales.
Thursday: Early showers will clear through the morning to leave a fine day with light winds and sunny spells. Less hot than today but remaining very warm. Maximum temperature 25 deg C (77 deg F).
Outlook for Friday to Sunday: Friday. largely fine with temperatures rising later giving thundery outbreaks by evening. Saturday, storms clearing, turning sunnier and feeling fresher. Sunday, staying largely fine, sunny and warm.
