As well as dipping their toes in, swimmers also wore fancy dress, this year the theme was 'all things Christmas'.

More than 900 people took to the water in 2015.

Spokesman, Marilyn Smith said, "Last year we had visitors from New Zealand, Canada and Germany besides those who come from the South Wales area, all to enjoy a festive morning."

This year the swim committee chose to donate money collected at the swim and via swimmers sponsorship to LATCH who work with children with cancer.
