'Be alert' warning issued after Bank holiday break-ins

People in the area are being urged to make sure their properties are locked Credit: PA

Nine sheds have been broken into at allotments in Holyhead over the Bank Holiday.

Police in the area are asking communities to remain alert and report any suspicious behaviour.

The incidents took place in Plas Road overnight between Sunday 30th April and Monday 1st May. Officers say petrol could be the motivation behind a number of the break-ins.

We are eager to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour or activity in the Plas Road area after 8pm on Sunday evening and I’m asking local residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately.

It is also worth reminding the community to ensure their property is always locked and secured or kept out of sight.
