A man has been jailed for five years after he was convicted of sexually assaulting a woman.
The victim told a jury she woke up to find the 64-year-old man assaulting her, which hurt.
Nigel Pope denied the charge and said that he had been looking for a lighter.
But DNA was found after swabs were taken from him, something Pope claims must have come off a cushion. His story was rejected by a jury at Mold Crown Court.
Mr Pope from Wrexham was ordered to register with the police as a sex offender for life.
Judge Rhys Rowlands said Pope showed a 'complete lack of any morals at all', the pair had both been drinking and she became tired and took a nap.
