Tributes paid to boy, 17, killed in car crash

A 17-year-old who died in a car crash yesterday morning has been named as Jordan Charles from Rhymney.

His family, who are being supported by specially trained officers, have paid tribute to him:

Jordan was an outgoing boy who had done a lot in his short life and lived it to the full. His family wish to be left alone to grieve together as a family at this time.

The incident happened in the early hours of yesterday morning on Moriah Street in Rhymney when a Peugeot 206 hit a parked car.

A 15-year-old girl who was a passenger in the car, who is also from the local area, has been released from hospital and is being supported by her family.
