Hundreds of schools across Wales are closed and homes remain without power as heavy snow continues to cause travel disruption.
Western Power Distribution have confirmed that nearly 600 properties in south east Wales are still without power.
71 schools are closed in Flintshire, 11 in Wrexham and 49 in Denbighshire.
The worst affected areas include parts of Flintshire, Denbighshire, Wrexham, Powys, Monmouthshire and Gwent.

Meanwhile a Met Office yellow warning for ice affecting the whole of Wales is in place until 11 o'clock this morning.
Motorists are being warned that cold temperatures could cause black ice and they should to drive slowly, leaving plenty of space between them and the car in front.
