Hundreds of schools are expected to stay closed today as temperatures plummet across Wales.
Parts of Caerphilly and Powys are particularly affected and homes in Monmouthshire were without power on Tuesday morning.
Schools were closed yesterday after snow continued to cause disruption.
The problems continued overnight with temperatures falling to as low as minus 9.5C in Powys.
The Met Office has extended its yellow weather warnings for ice until 11am on Tuesday to cover most of Wales.

The deep freeze left hundreds without power, while commuters on the roads, rail and airways were hit by delays and cancellations.
