Are you Purdy's perfect match this Valentines Day?

Purdy, named after her affectionate purring, was abandoned at the RSPCA's Bryn-y-Maen Animal Centre, after her owner was no longer able to care for her.

The ginger and white domestic shorthair crossbreed has been at the centre since October.

Staff say Purdy is a mature moggie aged around 14 years old, but despite her age would give her owner so much companionship and affection.

We named her Purdy after her wonderful affectionate purring.

She has no tail but it does not seem to bother her at all.

She required a dental operation in our care and is now feeling much better, she still dribbles, but with contentment.

Purdy gives amazing cuddles, and loves attention.

She has a great character and it is clear she just wants to be loved.

She is certainly one of the most affectionate cats we’ve ever had at the centre - a real heart stealer.

The Bryn-y-Maen centre provides specialist care for domestic and farm animals, and staff also provide support to injured wildlife.
