Wales' late brace in the dying moments of the game wasn't enough to come away with a victory against Ireland in Dublin.

Wales were ahead early in the first half with a try from Davies before falling behind by half time.

Half-back Davies, Aaron Shingler and Steff Evans grabbed second half tries for Wales, but the visitors were outmuscled and outclassed, eventually.

It looked positive in the last ten minutes which saw Warren Gatland's men claw back to see them only three points behind their rivals at 27-30.

But it was short lived. A last minute try from Jacob Stockdale sealed the victory for Ireland, with the game ending 37-27.

Despite dominating for large swathes, Ireland only ended up winning the day thanks to Murray's late penalty goal and a last-gasp intercept score for Stockdale.

A Jacob Stockdale double , Bundee Aki, Dan Leavy and Cian Healy scored for Ireland, helping them rack up a bonus-point victory to stun Warren Gatland's Wales.

Ireland now storm ever closer to a NatWest 6 Nations title showdown with England.
