'I don't think there's a blade of grass in Wales I haven't trod on' - Meet Wales' 104 year-old walker

One man from Wales is proving that age really is just a number.

Introducing Trevor Ward, the 104 year-old putting us all to shame as he treks the hills and countryside almost every day near his home in Clydach Vale.

The former miner said the daily walks keep him feeling young.

He’s looking after me, whoever’s up there is looking after me and that’s what it’s all about.

I go out every day if it’s fine I don’t go out if it’s raining.

I’m a lucky man, I’ve got no aches and pains, I’ve got no nothing I just enjoy life

I don’t think there’s a blade of grass on any of these mountains I haven’t trod on, Morton mountain or Pen Y Graig up there.

Trevor meets his friend Mervin, who is 83, to walk the hillside each day.

He says fresh air and walking are the secrets to staying healthy.

But he still makes time to go dancing and to the bingo.

I just love walking, put it that way, I love walking … I love it
