Family tributes to man and woman killed in M4 crash

The families of a man and woman who died in a car crash on the M4 motorway have paid tribute to them.

28-year-old Sarah-Jayne Thomas from Penlan in Swansea was killed at the scene on Tuesday afternoon. Her family have described her as "perfect".

Sarah-Jayne Thomas was my only daughter and my best friend.

She is my perfect little sister. Words will never explain how much I’ll miss her. She was more than my big sister. She was my rock.

A loving mother of Harley and Jason, aged nine and six. She will be missed by her family and everyone that knew her.

Timothy Peter Grace, 31, from Treboeth in Swansea was also killed in the single vehicle crash.

He sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital but died at the University Hospital of Wales on Wednesday evening.

Tim Grace is survived by his parents and his younger brother.

Sadly he leaves behind his two lovely children aged nine and two and a half years. Tim will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

The accident happened on the westbound carriageway between junction 37 for Porthcawl and junction 38 for Margam near Port Talbot.

Specially trained police officers are supporting both families.
