Geraint Thomas has made a triumphant return to Cardiff after his Tour de France victory.
The cyclist was met with crowds of people at a special homecoming event which began at the Senedd and will continue at Cardiff Castle.
At the Senedd, Thomas was met by First Minister Carwyn Jones and Llywydd, Elin Jones.
Speaking in front of the crowd at the Senedd, Thomas joked that he thought the Tour de France would be harder.
He then joined the crowd in a rousing rendition of the national anthem.
Crowds are gathering at Cardiff Castle to see Thomas cycle through Cardiff accompanied by young cyclists.
