Hotels in North Wales have seen a boom in bookings as more people choose to "staycation" in the UK.
Travel site, Expedia Group, revealed hoteliers across Wales have enjoyed a successful early summer period. North Wales saw a near 30% increase in bookings in April, May and June compared with the same period in 2017.
North Wales has been leading the way with a growing demand in British visitors. The data showed more than 50% of demand for UK hotels during the period came from UK-based guests. It's thought the spring and summer heatwave has also helped hotel bookings boom in 2018.
