Geraint Thomas will be riding on home soil for the first time since his historic Tour de France win.
The Tour de France winner will lead his team through Carmarthenshire for the UK's biggest road race, The Tour of Britain. Pembrey Country Park in Carmarthenshire is hosting the Grand Depart for the race.
Riders will set off from Pembrey Country Park on 2 September before cycling north towards Llandovery. Thousands of spectators are expected to line the route to cheer on the first Welsh Tour de France winner.
Carmarthenshire County Council expect the event to bring a big boost to tourism in the area.
