'Social services failed my father'
Kelly Fisher says carers visiting her father's home took three days to raise the alarm when he didn't answer the door.
"Dad never stood a chance", says daughter of stroke victim
A woman from Cardiff whose father died after suffering a stroke says social services failed to contact him for three days.
Richard Fisher had carers every day, but when he didn't answer the door she says they left. He'd suffered a stroke and died a few days later.
"I just don't understand why these people never ever phoned me. As soon as those carers walked away from that door my father didn't stand a chance" she said.
Cardiff Council says it takes social welfare "very seriously" and that it has "commissioned an independent investigator to look into this matter"
