Two protestors arrested following Queen's visit

Two men have been arrested following the Queen's visit to Wales.

One man was arrested after attempting to gain access to a section of road which had been closed off to the public, as part of a security operation, during the Queen's visit.

The man is currently being questioned by police.

South Wales Police also arrested a second man to prevent a breach of the peace ahead of Her Majesty's visit to Cyfartha Castle in Merthyr.

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh have visited Merthyr Tydfil this afternoon.

A smile fit for a Queen!

Wales' Grand Slam winning rugby team have met the Queen today as she visits Wales as part of her Diamond Jubilee tour.

Wales Captain, Sam Warburton was unable to hide his delight at meeting Her Majesty and said it was an 'honour' to be part of such a special event.

The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh have now arrived at Margam Park where they will meet members of the Grand Slam-winning Welsh rugby team.

This is the second stop on their tour of South Wales, which has been arranged, to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
