A body found found at Trearddur Bay, Anglesey last Saturday has been identified as Roger Wilyman, who was 61 and from Llanfair Talhaiarn in Conwy. Mr Wilyman was reported missing after last being seen on 18 May.
An inquest has been opened by the Coroner for North West Wales, and enquiries are continuing.
A body has been found washed up on a beach in North Wales.
Police received a call at 11 o'clock this morning from two men who made the discovery at Nun's Cove between the beaches of Porth Y Post and Porth Dafarch in Trearddur Bay near Anglesey.
The body was retrieved by Holyhead lifeboat after coastguards went to the spot and has since been taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor.
The coroner has been informed.
North Wales police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Roger Wilyman disappeared from his home in Conwy over a month ago, but his family say they are not giving up hope he's safe.
