Tata Steel 'fully co-operating' with investigation
A spokesperson for Tata Steel in Port Talbot says the company is co-operating fully with an investigation by the South Wales Police and the Health and Safety Executive.
– Robert Dangerfield, Tata SteelWe can confirm that an incident took place yesterday afternoon. One person was affected and taken to hospital. We are co-operating fully with the investigation.
Mr Dangerfield added that he could not comment on the circumstances of the incident due to the investigation.

Man critical after 'serious incident' at Port Talbot steelworks
South Wales Police say a man has been airlifted to hospital after being injured at the Tata Steel plant in Port Talbot.
Officers received the call of a 'serious incident' at 16.51 today.
The man, a worker at the site, is currently at the University Hospital of Wales, where his condition is described as critical.
