The body of Guardsman Jamie Shadrake, of the Reconnaissance Platoon, 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, has been repatriated this afternoon. He was killed in Afghanistan on Friday. The 20-year-old was brought up near Cardiff before moving with his family to Wrexham.

A soldier killed in Afghanistan has been named as Guardsman Jamie Shadrake, of the Reconnaissance Platoon, 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards.
Born in West Bromwich, Guardsman Shadrake was brought up near Cardiff, before his family moved to Wrexham last year. They've described him as "a tremendous son and brother".
Guardsman Shadrake, who was 20, died of gunshot wounds when his checkpoint was attacked by insurgents in the Nahr-e Saraj District of Helmand province.
