Fog and slippery conditions have made life difficult for crews on the second morning of Wales Rally GB. Jari-Matti Latvala has extended his lead on the event to more than 20 seconds over his Ford team-mate Petter Solberg.
Citroën’s French multiple world champion Sebastien Loeb has maintained his overnight third position but has closed the gap on Solberg to less than 4 seconds.
Aberdyfi driver Tom Cave has climbed to 16th place overall and 4th in class this morning.
This afternoon, competitors will repeat the three morning stages and take their only run through the new spectator stage at Newport’s Celtic Manor Resort, starting at 18:30.
