Welsh soldiers' honours

Two Welsh soldiers have been awarded honours for service in Afghanistan. Rifleman Matthew Wilson, from Aberystwyth, has been awarded The Military Cross. Corporal Mathew Perry of Newport has been given The Queen's Commendation for Valuable Services.

Two Welsh soldiers have been honoured at a ceremony in London for their efforts whilst serving in Afghanistan. Rifleman Matthew Wilson from Aberystwyth has been presented with the Military Cross for protecting a wounded comrade.
