Swansea City have awarded left-back Ben Davies with a new three and a half year deal which will keep the Welsh international at the Liberty Stadium until 2016.
The 19 year-old had a year and a half left to run on his original contract.
The Swans have moved early to tie down the Neath product, who stormed onto the scene after replacing Neil Taylor, who suffered a broken leg and ankle early in the season.

Laudrup: Rodgers reception "up to the fans"
Swansea manager Michael Laudrup says it is up to the fans whether or not they welcome Brendan Rodgers back to the Liberty Stadium on Sunday. Rodgers, who left the club in the summer, will return to his old stomping ground for the first time since leaving with new club Liverpool.
Laudrup said if it was up to him he would "applaud" Rodgers for the work he has done but that he cannot influence the thoughts of a packed Liberty Stadium.Swansea have already beaten Liverpool once this season - a 3-1 league cup success at Anfield.
