Discussions have begun over Welsh Government plans to tackle violence and domestic abuse
It's estimated that domestic violence alone costs Wales over £800 million pounds a year.
Today's white paper includes plans for an independent adviser for ending violence against women... the first of its kind in the UK.

"My mum was drunk a lot of the time" she says.
"My dad would come home to find her drunk, and he would hit her. Me and my brother would in our bedrooms, and we'd hear the screams."
