– Councillor Dennis James, Lord Mayor of SwanseaThis will be an historic day for the city when its links with the Armed Forces will be celebrated and sealed in the new covenant.
I urge the people of Swansea to line the parade route on Tuesday to give the soldiers the welcome home from Afghanistan they so thoroughly deserve.
The battalion will also pay tribute to Captain Stephen Healey and Corporal Michael Thacker, who lost their lives during the tour.
