Iestyn Middle gets VIP treatment at Cardiff City

Seven-year-old Iestyn Middle from Penygraig in the Rhondda is being treated for a brain tumour - and in the run up to Christmas had his presents stolen from their shed.

After hearing about his story, Cardiff City invited him along to today's game with Millwall. Before kick-off, we went along to join him and his family.

Iestyn described the size of the stadium as the most exciting part of visit so far - and predicted a 2-1 win for the Bluebirds. His dad Jonathan said the public reaction was 'overwhelming.'

Yesterday on ITV Wales News we heard how Iestyn Middle, who's receiving treatment for brain tumours, had all his Christmas presents stolen from his home in Penygraig. The crime happened while his parents were out raising money for children with cancer.

Well we had an amazing response from people wanting to donate presents to Iestyn. Joanna Simpson took one viewer, David, along to Iestyn's house to give him a present.

Family appeal after thieves stole Christmas presents

The family of a young boy, who's receiving treatment for brain tumours, have condemned thieves who stole his Christmas presents from their home - whilst they were out raising money for children with cancer.

Seven year old Iestyn Middle from Penygraig in the Rhondda says he's still looking forward to Christmas, even though it's been a tough year for all the family.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the robbery to come forward. Hannah Thomas has the story.

The family of a seven year-old boy from the Rhondda, who is being treated for a brain tumour, have condemned thieves who broke into their shed and stole his Christmas presents.

Iestyn Middle had asked Santa for new bedroom furniture, but the gifts were stolen while the family were out fundraising for a childrens' cancer charity.

Iestyn's mum says the family were deeply upset by the theft.
