He also talks frankly about the devastating hit and run smash which left him nearly paralysed, the emotional and the physical struggle to battle back to health and his hope that he'll compete again.

Double gold-winning cyclist Simon Richardson, who's the subject of tonight's Face to Face programme on ITV Cymru Wales, points out that it's two years exactly since the accident which left him critically injured and meant he missed the London 2012 paralympic games.
