Coleman: Bale taken off as precaution

Wales manager Chris Coleman says they didn't want to take a gamble in leaving Gareth Bale on for the second half of Wales' win over Scotland last night.

Bale limped off at half time, after returning from an ankle injury and suffering from a virus all last week.

Wales emerged victorious from a clash of the Celts at Hampden Park in tonight's 2014 World Cup Qualifier.

Aaron Ramsey and Hal Robson-Kanu scored a goal apiece in the second half, with Ramsey later given a red card in the dying moments of the game. Grant Hanley led with the only goal for Scotland.
