Cardiff City can take another giant stride towards promotion to the Premier League when they go to Watford on Saturday evening. Victory would see City open up an eleven point gap on the Hornets, who occupy the final play-off place. And boss Malky Mackay has praised the character of his squad.

"You're debated, you're analysed, you're criticised. The torch is shone upon you, and in some cases you're ignored. So all these feelings can come out. And it's just about the players staying calm and making sure that they just do what we feel the correct process for being successful is."

Swansea travel to Norwich, with manager Michael Laudrup believing a top ten finish is still within reach. The Swans, on 40 points, have lost their last 3 games. But, despite a tough-looking run-in which includes games against Manchester United and Chelsea, the Great Dane is targeting a strong finish

"I said fifty points, I think it's still possible... Maybe with less than what I'm saying you can still be in the top ten. But we'll have to win at least two games and draw a couple of others" - Michael Laudrup
