– Shan Williams, chair of 4CG
"We have been waiting for all the legal matters to be resolved and we are now ready to show the shareholders what the latest acquisition looks like from inside."
Shareholders in 4CG, the group that have bought Cardigan's old police station and court house, will get their first look inside the buildings today. The 4CG group are within days of picking up the keys to the buildings with the society's AGM to be held later today.
4CG is a community group that was set up to purchase local buildings to house services for the town.
During the AGM, shareholders will also find out what interest they could be paid after investing in the scheme. There are currently 664 shareholders who have bought shares in multiples of £200 each amounting to a total of just under £400,000.
