Cardiff City are waiting on Blackpool winger Tom Ince to decide whether he wants to move to the club.
They've also had a busy day - signing a sponsorship deal with the Welsh Government and unveiling their new record signing.
Tom Sheldrick reports.
"The warmth my family and I felt on coming to Wales just over two years ago will forever stay with us" says Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay.
“We now have a platform on which to demonstrate what we do as a club, city and country on a global level.
The news of the sponsorship deal with the Welsh Government is very exciting, and I look forward to seeing the new ‘Croeso’ stand in all its glory when we kick-off our home campaign against Manchester City in August.”
The Welsh Government has agreed a sponsorship package with Cardiff City for their first season in the Premier League, with the aim of promoting Wales "to a worldwide audience".
The deal will see Visit Wales branding inside and outside the stadium, includes the renaming of the Canton Stand as the Croeso Stand.
