Swansea City lost 4-1 at home to Manchester United on the opening day of the new premier league season.
It was the first league match for new Manchester United manager David Moyes and the visitors claimed a 1-0 lead in the 34th minute when Robin van Persie found the back of the net. A second goal for the champions followed just two minutes later courtesy of Danny Welbeck.
In the second half, Robin van Persie put United 3-0 in front in the 72nd minute. But Swansea City's new signing Wilfried Bony secured the home side a consolation goal 10 minutes from the final whistle, before Welbeck responded with another.

The Premier League kicks off for Swansea as they take on champions Manchester United at the Liberty Stadium today.
The side finished in the top half of the table last season.
Manchester United beat the Swans 2-1 the last time they met in May.
Swansea enjoyed success during the third qualifying round of the Europa League last week, beating Swedish side Malmo 4-0 on aggregate.
Manager Michael Laudrup has said it's all been in preparation for this season adding, '"It's no secret the Premier League is the main thing for us."
