Cardiff City will be hoping to maintain their winning run of form when they host Everton today.

The Bluebirds won away at Accrington Stanley in the League Cup on Wednesday, after claiming a dramatic win last weekend at home to Manchester City.

Cardiff will be without injured striker Andreas Cornelius and with the transfer deadline looming, manager Malky Mackay has said he does not believe speculation over the futures of Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines will be a distraction for his side's opponents.

Manchester United are pursuing the Everton duo and are thought to be set to launch another bid to reunite them with former Goodison Park boss David Moyes.

"I think every club at the moment is getting used to speculation around its players," said Mackay.

"We've had a lot of it concerning players we want to bring in.

"But I know Roberto Martinez really well and he will be totally professional and have his team focused on the game."
