A boat building business in West Wales is aiming to double in size. It follows a major investment in new facilities which have been officially opened by Economy Minister Edwina Hart.

Mustang Marine received £100,000 of Skills Growth Wales funding from the Welsh Government in February to train more than 100 employees. Economy Minister Edwina Hart AM told ITV News that Pembroke Port has a lot of skilled personnel and it was important to see companies do well.
Economy Minister Edwina Hart AM will officially open a new boat building construction hall in Pembroke Port today, as part of the first major investment in the Haven Waterway Enterprise Zone.
Growing demand for workboats, pilot boats, wind farm support vessels and passenger vessels from around the world prompted the building of the £1.5million hall. The completion of the hall marks the end of the second part of the phased development at the Pembroke Dock facility.
