Antoinette Sandbach AM for North Wales wants Flintshire councillors to rethink their parking policies for Mold, after almost 1,000 tickets were issued since October.
Nearly 1,000 parking tickets have been given out in Flintshire in the past ten weeks, since new wardens were brought in.
Figures obtained by Conservative AM Antoinette Sandbach show that since October the 1st over £22,000 has been raised with a third of those in Mold.
This has prompted her to suggest that a 'rethink' is necessary on the council's parking policy.
Flintshire County Council say they did warn people about the changes and promises to spend any money raise on wages and car parks.
The cost of the fine is £50.
