Gwent Police have extended their search for missing man Kyle Vaughan - nearly a year on from his disappearance.
Teams of investigators are conducting a two-week search around the Newbridge area.
Gwent Police say the searches are intelligence-led and part of the continuing case.
A murder inquiry was launched after police found Kyle's car damaged near Risca, shortly after he went missing in December last year.
Eight people have been arrested in connection with his disappearance, including two men, aged 25 and 27 and from Blackwood, arrested on suspicion of murder.
In addition, a 22-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and a 21-year-old man from Newbridge and a 15-year-old boy from Abercarn have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
They are all are on bail until December.
