Family of injured soldier raises thousands to get him home
The family of an injured SAS soldier has raised over £160,000 to have him brought home from Thailand. Stuart Kyffin suffered a severe brain injury when he was involved in a motorcycle crash in October.
An ex-soldier from Pontypool says he's been overwhelmed by the support given to his sick brother. Dave Kyffin needed to raise £100,000 for a special flight to bring his brother Stuart home from Thailand.
Stuart suffered severe head injuries in a motorbike accident there three months ago and didn't have medical insurance.
He's now being treated back in Britain after generous donors gave more than £160,000 to his cause.
