The family of a man killed at the weekend after his Land Rover rolled down a hill near Mold have paid tribute to him.

The parents of Gareth Huw Roberts say he was, "a wonderful son, brother and friend. We will miss his ray of sunshine and cheekysmile forever. He will be sadly missed by all. He brought joy to all he met."

The incident happened at Moel Llys Y Coed in the early hours of Sunday morning.

North Wales Police say no other vehicles are thought to be involved and the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Gareth who was 30, and went to Ysgol Brynhyfryd was known as 'Cruglas" to family and friends.

His partner Louise Collister said, “He had the rare ability to bring a smile to everyone's face as soon as he entered the room."

Police name 4x4 hill crash driver

Police have named a man who died yesterday when his Land Rover appeared to topple down a hill, as Gareth Roberts.

The 30-year-old from Ruthin received fatal injuries when the incident happened at Moel Llys Y Coed, near Mold in North Wales.

North Wales Police said no other vehicles were thought to be involved in the incident, and there were not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

Moel Llys Y Coed is a hill measuring more than 1,500ft in the Clwydian mountain range
