A Newport man has been charged with murder after the body of a 21-year-old Caerleon woman was discovered on Monday.
The 28-year-old man from Newport, who was arrested in connection with the death of a 21-year-old woman following an incident at an address on Bryn Bevan on Monday 5th May, has now been charged with murder.
The man is due to appear at Newport Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
Gwent Police were called to a house in Bryn Bevan in Newport today after the body of a 21-year-old woman was found.
A 28-year-old man from the area has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody assisting officers with their enquiries.
The coroner has been notified and a post mortem will now take place to determine the cause of death.
